Back then, my job ended at the copy doc.
Which meant, I had no idea if what I wrote ever worked.

The more brands I worked with, the clearer it got: they were focused on hitting 30% email revenue, but no one was asking how many customers were coming back.

That’s when I decided: I didn’t just want to help brands send better emails.

I wanted to help keep their customers.
